Leap Scarecrow Festival

2015

The idea of a festival developed and suddenly scarecrows of all shapes and sizes began appearing in the nooks and crannies of our village.

2016

The Scarecrow Festival grew into a terrifying extravaganza, filled with laughter, dancing witches, ghouls and spirits lurking around every corner.

2017

The village of Leap was again filled with spooky delights. A giant robot, a floating sea monster, and a family of trolls were amongst the creatures
to be found.

2018

A year of wonderful creativity with street entertainment,
circus skills, face painting, plenty of giggles and thrilling scarecrows with eco-friendly messages.

In the
beginning

Well done to all of us as a community! It started in 2015 as a small idea and grew beyond everyone expectations, with all getting involved. Lots of creatures started appearing all over our main road, slowing down traffic, bringing smiles and laughter to all who were passing through, attracting interest from both local and national media.
