Tomas & Daniel
Overall Winners 2018 with ‘Cycling and Recycling’
RECYCLING and sustainability was the theme of this year’s winning entry in Leap’s Scarecrow Festival.
Made by four year old Daniel Magennis, Drimoleague and his two and a half year old friend, Tomas Weblin, its title was ‘Cycling and Recycling.’
Artistic
Ger's 'Native Irish Man' was covered entirely with native Irish tree and plant species, these included Holly, Ivy, Ash, Oak, Hazel and even crab apples!
Family
This 'Rock Band' was beautifully constructed from a wonderful mix including natural materials.
Humorous
'Say I Boo' the fabulous creation from the Celtic Ross Hotel in Rosscarbery
Premises
A scary skull covered building where a giant spider patiently waited for her next meal and a spooky train carried a motley crew to see Michael D Higgins battling the three dragons!
Scary
This blood soaked 'Guillotine' included a basket brimming with corpseless heads and a very opportunistic rat! Truly Horrific!
